We regularly receive comments from customers that we do not have enough large sizes for the Alembika - Urban by Alembika brand. But, nothing could be further from the truth... That's why I want to explain something to you.
The Urban by Alembika tops are only available in sizes XS to XL. What is the difference between an XS and XL? NOT the width of the garment, BUT the neckline and, if they are fitted sleeves, the sleeve. Most of these models are available up to size 50/52. Please note, this theory only applies to the oversized models.
Mate | 34-36 | 38-40 | 42-44 | 46-48 | 50-54 |
Alembika | XS | S | M | L | XL |
The subsections , on the other hand, do not follow this theory and the following applies:
Mate | 34-36 | 36-38 | 38-40 | 40-42 | 42-44 |
Alembika | XS | S | M | L | XL |
Here too, the exception is the rule. Jersey bottoms are much larger and are therefore more accessible for plus size.
At Alembika the sizes are slightly different and we go from size 0 to size 6 and sometimes up to size 8.
Mate | 36-38 | 38-40 | 40-42 | 42-44 | 44-46 | 46-48 | 48-50 | 50-52 | 52-54 |
Alembika | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
Here too, all jersey models have a larger fit than their cotton or fabric friends.
So... moral of the story: not as it seems. Know that almost everyone can score a nice Alembika outfit with us!
Are you still unsure or do you need help? Know, we are here for you! Based on a photo and/or your measurements (buttocks, breasts and arms), I can usually tell you which size to choose. Of course this applies to all brands.
